A video of Indian Consul General in New York Sandeep Chakravorty was spread on Social Media by Pakistan supporters and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi haters to defame Indian Government. Soon all the Liberal and Fake News main stream media (MSM) Media picked it up and twisted the facts and took certain remarks ‘out of context’ and twisted it to mean Zionism and Fascism and started writing stories on it against Indian Government. Pakistan’s thousands of trolls also started spreading rumors and hate speech against India and began inciting Indian Muslims.

A private event was organized by Vivek Agnihotri, a noted Indian Film Director in Bollywood. He is meeting the members of Kashmiri Pandit diaspora living in US and other parts of the world including the refugees living in India to know the painful stories of Hindu Kashmiri Pandits who were driven out of Kashmir by the Pakistani Terrorists and Pakistan supported Radical Islamist Terrorist Organization Jamaat-e-Islami in 1980s, their houses burned, relatives killed by the Terrorists. As part of his quest for truth he visited the US to meet the Indian Diaspora to know their painful stories and bring the plight of Hindu Kashmiri Pandits in the form of his upcoming movie “Kashmir Files” next year.

The meeting was attended by Indian Bollywood Star and Indian Parliamentarian Anupam Kher and Indian Consul General in New York Sandeep Chakravorty.

During his speech India’s Consul General in New York Sandeep Chakravorty mentioned a few lines wherein the Liberal Fake Main Stream Media started equating Indian policy on Kashmir as that of Israel in Palestine. Media and Pakistanis on social media platforms completely hide the complete context and started blaming India for planning Israel like action in Kashmir.

Though, as an optimist, he said kashmiri pandits shouldn’t feel alienated & asked people to keep their culture i. e. Kashmiriyat alive even outside their home(kashmir) the way Israelites preserved their culture for 2000 yrs outside their home but, as usual, Pakistanis and so called Indian liberals took thing out of context & started Indian as well as hindu bashing

Some of the titles of the Liberal Fake News Media read, “Anger over India’s diplomat calling for ‘Israel model’ in Kashmir“, “Video of Indian diplomat saying Kashmir needs Israel-like solution stirs controversy” and many more.

None of these articles showed the complete Video and showed the context in which the speech was made and just focused on a couple of out of context statements. All these Liberal and Pakistan supporting Fake News media quoted Tweets of the Hindu Hating and India Hating Liberals and Pakistanis.

Plight of Kashmiri Pandits

Terrorist Nation Pakistan which is a born enemy of India, had been constantly needling India and bleeding Kashmir. Who is the worst sufferer? Over a Million Kashmiri Pandit Refugees are forced to live the lives of refugees in India and else where in the world. Original culture of “Sufism” has been hijacked and destroyed by Pakistan by infiltrating Terrorists for several decades and brainwashing people to become Radical Islamists.

Kashmiri Pandits are running from pillar to post for getting their homes back in Kashmir for last 30  years. They never got justice. This meeting was organised by Vivek Agnihotri for his upcoming movie on Kashmir.

Everyone present requested Government to get provide security and make arrangements to settle them back. Due to hostile environment created by Pakistan and it’s supported Radicals and Terrorists, it is not safe for them to go and live in their ancestral homes. So they requested Government to find a Solution.

In that Context Indian Consul General in New York Sandeep Chakravorty made the statement to get the Kashmiri Pandits back to their home in Kashmir. As Israel has made the settlements for Jews, Indian government will get settle the refugees back in their own lands.

However Pakistan supporting Media Twisted the facts because they consider Israel as an agressor and it gave them an opportunity to bash India.

However this Liberal Fake News Media failed to highlight that Kashmiri Pandits are no aliens and Kashmir belongs to them equally as it belongs to Kashmiri Pandits. As mentined in the above noted article, Kashmir was a land of Hindus that was plundered by Islamic Invasions. However the Kashmiri Hindu Pandits kept their culture alive and there was peace and sufism was practiced by Muslims. But because of the Radicalization and Terrorism by Pakistan, the Hindus were driven out, their homes burnt, mass exhodus took place. Now Indian Government intends to settle the same Kashmiri Pandits back in their own land from which they were driven by force. Barring a few Media houses, majority of them bashed India.

Indian Consul General in New York Sandeep Chakravorty didn’t say that he will settle Hindus from other Indian states of Bihar and UP in Kashmir. Whole discussion was to resettle the native Hindu Kashmiri Pandit families who are living as refugees since last 30 years, back in their own land.

There was a gathering of NRI Kashmiri Hindu Pandits whose parents were driven out of Kashmir. Every person present at the meeting gave their brief introduction and told their tales how their ancestors were driven out of Kashmir from the different places in Kashmir that were the epic center of Terrorism.

Kashmiri Pandits requested Vivek Agnihotri to Make a movie on the Kashmiri Pandits Plight and Suffering. Vivek Agnihotri asked Why everyone is scared to tell the Kashmiri Pandit’s side of the story? Vivek Agnihotri did the research and met ordinary Kashmiri Pandits who had no voice, living in small apartments with their families. Heard their story. It is not a story of Pain and suffering. It is a story of survival and success. This is the only community that despite going through so much injustice and violence, this is the only community that never retaliated. Not only that the third generation kids are the most creative people. He mentioned that in any Civil society, Government or Human Rights Organizations would have recorded the violence against Kashmiri Pandits as “War Crimes”. He said his movie and web series will bring Authentic first time on record stories of people and politics of that time.

Once they see the real documented story, he wants to tell people what is happening. So that this new digital generation knows what is happening.

One person present in the meeting said, “salt is rubbed on our wounds. Government of India gave us the title of Migrants. We were internally displaced people and still are Migrants, displaced, give us rights that were snatched from us”.

Different people told their stories of pain and plight. People got tears in their eyes listening to each other’s stories. The atmosphere was so emotional and intense.

One lady told her story that the demography of the Kashmir has changed so much since Hindu kashmiri Pandits were driven out that she feels alien when she goes to Kashmir now.

One Kashmiri Pandit woman said, “When I was small, I used to spend time in nearby temple mostly because of the celebrations. However now the recent video of the temple area showed that the temple is no more. My house was burnt. Sister and Brother and law were Doctors. They were told to leave or next day they will be killed. There were 6 Exoduses and everyone was massacred. In earlier exoduses there was no documentation and there was no communication. But 1989 Exodus was was documented. Government of India cheated us. Everything was suppressed.”

One person said, “With Modi Ji everything has surfaced. There is awareness among people. History is in front of everyone.”

Another person said, “I am a Kashmiri but i don’t belong there. I am facing identity crisis. For next generations will not have the culture survive. Though we celebrate all festivals but this culture of Hindu Kashmiri Pandits will be lost. Kashmir Files Movie based on interviews plus kashmir unreported web series.

One person said, “We are too much fixated with Geography while the history is getting lost. As Kashmiri Pandits we are completely lost. What about Cultural identity of Kashmiri pandits? Kashmiri Pandits maintain their culture. Even Kashmir is always part of India, but culture how do we maintain that. We want that to be brought in documentary.”

Another old Hindu Kashmiri Pandit present in the meeting said, “Kashmir story was suppressed and not told to people. Such stories were suppressed even during Kashmir. Moplah riots 1921-1924 where thousands of Hindus were killed in violence which started due to Khilafat movement but no one in India or rest of India know about it. Such stories of violence against the Majority community has been always suppressed in India. Noakhali massacre (October to November 1947) during the partition. No one in rest of India know what happened. This Systematic suppression of atrocities on “So Called Majority Community” has been happening since Gandhi Ji’s Period. It was a Policy decision that was made. Sacrificing the Majority community at the altre of “Secularism”. “

Another person who was present in the meeting, “It is the fault of the then Indian Government that they let this Exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1980s happen. Thanks to Modi Ji we are back there. To maintain the culture of Kashmiris, it has to come from kashmir. Those Kashmiris who are not in Kashmir but in rest of India, i think they should go back to Kashmir. That is the only way we can continue the culture of Kashmir and its inheritance and everything.”

Indian Bollywood Actor and Indian Parliamentarian Anupam Kher was also present there. He said, “think we run away from tragedies. We learn to survive. We survived without damaging our Psyche, mind and without making our children bitter people, without making our children Terrorists. No Kashmiri Pandit has ever picked a gun. Because when you are struck with a tragedy half the time goes in thinking, “Oh my god i am suddenly asked to leave my place, i am leaving. It takes a little time to register. We are proud that we were given by our ancestors a sense of calmness, a sense of logic, that violence does not beget violence.”

He further said, “We are the only community that practices that you can overcome violence only with some kind of resilience, some kind of power. It happened in Nazi camps, but people in the camps kept themselves alive, it took time. Now we keep it alive so that people never forget. Just because the wound is covered, it does not mean that it does not pain. Sometimes it is important to cover the wound immediately so that we can move on with the life. It took 70 years for abrogation of Article 370. But it has happened. Lets celebrate that. Lets celebrate our friend making a film. Everyone likes to open their wounds and likes talking. A leader like Narendra Modi had to say that Article 370 and 35A needs to be removed, A Film maker like Vivek Agnihotri had to come forward to make a movie on Kashmiri Pandit’s plight. Incident that Pallavi had when a girl asked her surprisingly that she is not a muslim, the incident where a young taxi driver told Vivek Agnihotri that he brought his red shoes from foreign country. Lets wait for the movie to complete. It takes years for things to change. Its not that by telling our stories the life will change all of a sudden. But there will be a sense of satisfaction.  We have not felt our tragedy because we felt it is important to move on. That is something we should feel really happy about that we are made of steel and we feel at the same time. He is making the film, People are already frightened that Vivek Agnihotri is making a film. Next Generations will have this documentation. Our generations will go on. Our Ancestors never taught us that religions are different. Our Parents told us to go to a Temple, to a Mosque and to a Gurudwara. Whereaver you like, you go. Even go to a Church. And we do go. We pray with the same reverence. This is our strength. We should wait for the movie to come. This movie is not for us, it is for future Generations.”

At the start of his speech, Chakravorty says he will make a “personal” comment first, then move to more “sarkari” (Indian Government) points.

I personally believe that what happened in 1989 was a big failure of Indian State and we should not have allowed it to happen. Indian in 1989 was a big country. We had just come out of the Terrorism and Proxy war in Punjab. We had come out of Mrs (Indira) Gandhi’s assassination. We all know what happened in Punjab. Then our Enemy hit us in Kashmir. Our State should have done what we did in 1947,1948. We did not do that. We let (situation in Kashmir) to deteriorate. Till August 5 more or less the same narrative was played. I am returning from New Jersey. We were discussing about Kashmir. BJP National Spokesperson Sambit Patra was there. He said one thing, The thinking of the current Leadership (Narendra Modi) starts where our thinking ends. I think we should keep this in mind. People were talking about Kashmiri culture and a lady was saying you do not feel like going there. You feel like an Alien there.

Now with bringing Kashmir under the direct rule of the Central Government, I think it is not been done. We might be thinking why this was done. We need to go below the reasoning. Someone was speaking about the Jewish issue and Israel issue. They have kept their culture alive for 2000 years outside their land (Israel). They went back. I think we all have to keep the Kashmiri culture alive. The Kashmiri culture is the Indian Culture and the Hindu Culture. I believe myself as a Kashmiri like anybody else. Sunanda said something on Kashmir. None of us can imagine India without Kashmir. Anupam was telling about belief in all religions, going to Temples, Mosques, churches, but unfortunately not everybody thinks that way. We made the strategic blunder. We thought that everybody is thinking like us. Everybody (Referring to Pakistan) is not thinking like us. We should start thinking like others. Then only we will be able to beat them in their game. I think that thinking is now coming. We have never used as our strength as Majority community. We have never used the strength of our Hindu Culture and Ancient Civilization. In diplomacy, we never used it. When we are using it today, people are having problems with it. Resolutions are being brought, we are being dragged in Human Rights Council, we are being dragged in US Congress, delegation should go. You should send the delegation to a different place. They (Delegations) should go to Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan. You never talk about those places. Why does (the delegation) want to come to our place? They do not like because we (Indians) are now asserting ourselves. I believe in my lifetime we will have our land back, our people have to go back. Because not everybody can live in United States. Our Kashmiri brothers are living in refugee colonies in Jammu, Delhi, they are living by the road sides. They have to go back to their homes. And you will not go because of fear of life. But i think that fear will go away. Give us some time. I think Government has done what it has done. Indian Government would not have taken the International Risk, just for the amendments of the Indian Constitution. You should think beyond that. We ran the risk of International opprobrium. Whole world could have come together against us. It was an International diplomatic struggle. We have successfully stalled it. You give us some time, you will see what is going to happen. I believe security conditions in Jammu and kashmir will improve. It will allow refugees to go back. And in your lifetime, you will be able to go back. You will be able to visit your villages, you will be able to go back home, you will find security. Because we already have a model in the world. I don’t know why we don’t follow it. It has happened in the middle east. If Israeli people can do it, we can also do it. I think we should just follow up from here and we have to push our leadership to do that. Because otherwise there is no meaning. The situation would have continued as it was. Give us some time, we will do it. This is the determination of this Leadership (Modi Government). When Prime Minister was in Howdy Modi, he got the biggest applause when he mentioned Article 370. Not everybody in that hall was a Kashmiri. You have to return it in the way you have it. You have to meet, have your festivals, speak your language, sing your songs. You can’t let it (Kashmiri culture) die. I think we will get it back. What happened on 15 August, that will have long term repercussions for Kashmiri People.

Social Media came in support of India’s Consul General in New York Sandeep Chakravorty. One person tweeted in response to a Pakistani spreading hate on Twitter, “Consul General referred to Israel style housing for displaced Pundits. Fake News twisted it to mean Zionism and Fascist Paxshitstani Terrorists & Jamaat-e-Islami drove Kashmiri Hindus out of Kashmir. Slogans “Ralive, galiv ya tchaliv” used Read Article.” He posted our above mentioned article.

In another tweet he responded to Pakistan Prime Minister who reduced himself to that of a cheep troll and tweeted on India’s Consul General’s comments, this social media activist replied, ” Paxshitstani Terrorists and Jamaat-e-Islami drove Kashmiri Hindus out of Kashmir. Slogans used were “Ralive, galiv ya tchaliv” and “Azadi ka matlab kya? La ilaha illallah”. Paxshitstan has continued to give these threats to Hindus who returns. In response to another Pakistani trying to incite Indian Muslims, this Indian social media warrior replied, “Are you against resettling Kashmir Pandits back in Kashmir? Kashmiri Pandits who are forced to live as Refugees in Refugee colonies for last 3 decades, do you not want them to return? Why are you so much rattled with thoughts of them returning? Did you ever condemn Paxshitstan?”

There was a lot of support for Indian Consul General in New York Sandeep Chakravorty on twitter and condemnation for a cheap troll Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.
