Here is the Human Rights Report for the month of September and October 2019 for our readers.
University of Balochistan Scandal came to light this month. The security staff of the University of Balochistan (UoB) had installed secret cameras to record candid videos of the students and then to blackmail them. Cameras were installed in places like washrooms and smoking areas.
Special wishes for Happy Diwali are pouring in to India from Balochistan that is occupied by Pakistan. Diwali, Deepawali or Dipavali is the Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn in the northern hemisphere (spring in southern hemisphere).
People want Pakistan Army Generals Punished for the War Crimes. Pakistan Army Generals and the top Military brass as well as the Pakistan Intelligence Agency ISI are continuing their bloodbath in Balochistan. Despite the UN Human Rights Conference taking place at Geneva, there is no respite to the people of Balochistan from Army Atrocities. Several Protests at UN Human Rights Conference, Geneva were organized by Pashtun, Baloch, Sindhis, POK, Gilgitis against atrocities and Enforced Disappearances by Pakistan Army. While Pakistan continued its ranting on Indian Kashmir diverting the attention of International Community from its Gross Human Rights abuses in Balochistan, Pashtunistan, Sindh, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and Gilgit Baltistan.
Pakistan Army has launched a massive operation in occupied Balochistan. About a Division of troops along with helicopter gunships are operating in Kohistan, Marri, Kohlu, Sibi & the surrounding area of Tadhi, Shakha & Daho. If International Human Rights Organizations including UN Geneva, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and others do not intervene immediately and send fact finding missions in Balochistan, there is a Catastrophic Human Rights Disaster underway, that cannot be undone.
On 5th July 1977, Pakistan’s first democratically elected civilian leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was overthrown in a military coup led by Pakistan’s COAS General Zia Ul Haq. Bhutto was later executed in 1979. Zia’s introduction of Martial Law also saw the end of 4th militant uprising in the restive Balochistan…..
Taliban’s Doha Office must be turned into Balochistan’s Embassy, which guarantees regional peace and stability. Kabul, Delhi and Washington must allocate land for Balochistan’s embassy and exiled government in their countries. The friendly countries must hold a global conference in Washington, Kabul or New Delhi, inviting the Baloch pro-independence leadership, to discuss future peace plans and mechanism to end Pakistan sponsored war imposed in the region.
This complete monthly for July 2019 is to expose Pakistan Army Human Rights abuses in Balochistan. In July 2019 alone, Pakistan Army conducted 80 operations, Abducted 81 persons as a result of these operations. 31 dumped dead bodies of missing persons were found in Balochistan.
There was an attack on Pakistan Army’s Death squad members. There was another attack on Pakistan Army with rockets and automatic weapons in Panjgur. Balochistan Freedom fighters also attacked the stalls that were set by Pakistan Army to sell Pakistan flags and other material for celebrating 14 August.
