White House was under lockdown. As per the Secret Service tweet today morning, “Pedestrian traffic is closed around Pennsylvania Ave between 15th and 17th streets to include Lafayette park.”

As per the Secret Service Uniformed Division Officers are responding to an incident involving a suspicious package located on Pennsylvania Ave.
Approximately after an hour, Secret Service says that the suspicious package located near the White House. It has been declared safe and Pedestrian road closures will be lifted shortly.
